The task
1-2-3.tv is a German teleshopping channel. The client wanted to improve the auction part of their website, with a focus on real-time bidding and user experience. The existing solution was slow and not user-friendly, with a lot of text and no real-time updates. The new solution should be fast, interactive, and easy to use.
How I worked
I built the components in Solid.js and TypeScript, pulling the auction data from the backend via GraphQL and rendering it in real-time using Solid.js's state managment.
The components include a live auction list with multiple auction events and a product detail page with bidding functionality.
Outcome
The client was happy with the new components, which improved the user experience and increased engagement on the auction part of their website.
